We have the promise that God is with us, whatever the situation and we know that God does not make promises that he does not keep so the basis of our courage is not our strength, the basis of our courage is God who said "be strong and of good courage do not be afraid for the LORD your God is with you" that should eliminate fear.

So let's think about this: often, the difference between our success in anything and our victory in something lies in how we believe and what we believe about God. As they crossed the border into the Promised Land, they were going into battle. Pay close attention: God did not say, "Climb the walls." "Be strong and courageous and see what I do." All I want you to do is march around the wall of Jericho six times, and on the seventh day after marching and blowing the trumpets, on the seventh day, rest, and see what I do, God, tore down the walls, entered, and conquered.

The problem we sometimes have is this: if we cannot figure out how God will give us something, we don't believe it. Perhaps the only thing God tells us when we face a challenge is, "Be strong and very courageous; put your trust in me." Count on me, just see what I do, don't try to figure it out. And because we don't understand how God is going to do something in our lives, we disobey Him.

And because we don't understand how God is going to do something in our lives, we disobey Him.

Do not ask Him, "Lord, how will You do this?" That is not our concern. If God tells you to do something, obey Him based on who God is and what He said: "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go"That is the important part: Jehovah your God will be with you.

"Be strong and courageous" in whatever circumstances we face, the answer remains the same: "Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." You should write that on the tablet of your heart, you should remember it when facing any situation.

Whenever we see with eyes of doubt and lack of faith, we will fail. When we have the privilege of seeing through eyes of faith and courage, "be strong and courageous," don't try to figure it out. These walls would not have fallen if they had remained with that thought. That is not possible. Look, it is not possible when God is not present.

Perhaps today God is challenging you to do something, and we wonder how that will work out? If God tells us to do something and we are sure that it glorifies Him and is His will, we obey Him, and His promise supplies every need we have today.

Are there any exceptions to that? There are no exceptions. "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." I ask you, what more do you need than the promise that the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go? What more do you need than that? But there are those who would say, "Yes, but you don't know my circumstances." I know who knows them. God knows them all. He knows your origins, your strengths, your weaknesses, and your lack of faith. He knows your beliefs. He knows your struggles. God knows everything about each one of us. Does this work for everyone? For everyone, it is..."Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged." What do we have in common? Jehovah your God will be with you, period. Who does that include? Each one of us, Look, it all boils down to this: do I believe in God or not? When God spoke to Joshua and Caleb, they never imagined that thousands of years later we would say what God told them: "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged." This is a great promise given by our great God, who does not lie and who makes everything possible within His will. Whatever you face, do as God says, and what is the issue? Meditate on the Word day and night. Whatever situation or circumstance you face, do this: go to God daily and say, "Lord, you said this. You said to be strong and courageous because you would be with me in this. I trust you.

So we are blessed to have God dwelling in us, and we have God's word, God's promises. He said to them, “for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go” Think about this: we have the same privilege that Joshua and Caleb had when God said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you; I will be with you every step of the way.” We have the same promise, so when you think about the challenges you face in life, the answer is the same “Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid or discouraged.” because the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.

Look at the problem with the others, who died in the desert. Their attitude was that God was somewhere else but not with them, and they wanted to go back to Egypt. Can you imagine such a lack of faith after all that God had done, all the miracles in Egypt, crossing the Red Sea when God parted the waters on both sides to make way for them. In other words, when they think about everything God did for them, they forget when they arrive in the Promised Land, they say, "We can't do that, and we haven't even heard of Jericho. We can't fight them." Many children of God live in total defeat when facing their daily lives, because they don't want to see what God said: "I will never leave you nor forsake you. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. This book of the law will never depart from your mouth." Notice that part in verse 8: "This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth." Why would He say that to Joshua and Caleb? Because He knew what had happened to them. Their parents did not listen to the law of Moses; they did not listen to God. "This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it." Don't just glance at it; it's not a quick review, let's say. It's not getting up and saying, "I'm a little late this morning, but the Lord will understand. I'll read a passage from the Bible: 'The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures.' Thank you, Lord. I may have a very difficult day, but I didn't have any more time. How does that sound to you?” this book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success. Notice that it says so that you may be careful to do, then you will prosper in your way. Perhaps you are sitting there and you are not a believer. Does this apply to you? You do not have a promise. You live without God. You have no promises, except that one day you will stand before Him and give an account of your life. You have no promises. Perhaps you say, "But I can't pray?" Only if it is first a prayer of salvation. So if you have not yet repented to believe in Christ as your Savior, you can forget all this. It does not apply to you. Perhaps you say, "I do not listen to God." If you are willing to come to God, confess your sins, and repent with fruits worthy of repentance, then the word of God is open to you. I urge you to repent and believe in Jesus Christ as your Savior and begin to live a courageous and bold life. Then everything will change. I hope you do.

I end the program by asking you: Are you courageous because God is with you, or are you an adrenaline junkie? If you are not courageous, you will return to Egypt. Do not let fear defeat you. Overcome with the word of God.

Be courageous in moving forward with your family, your ministry, your work, and the church. God is with you.

Let us pray
